Talent shortage could see offshore wind industry run out of puff

The offshore wind sector faces a recruitment challenge.

OK, I never can resist the urge to work a pun into a headline but the article I researched and wrote about the UK’s offshore wind industry focuses on a very real recruitment challenge for the sector.

The article looks at what can be done to help the industry find an additional 43,000 people by 2026 so that it can meet its targets for the production of electricity. Download this pdf version to read the views of sector experts including John Weir, of the University of Hull.

I worked with Wardour Communications on the article, which was published by international recruitment firm Huxley as a blog in the Market Insights section of their website. Usual copyright protections apply.
